Terms of Service | EaseMyWrk

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EaseMyWrk ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform. EaseMyWrk is operated by Blackshift Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, Bengaluru.

2. Platform Description

EaseMyWrk is a professional services marketplace that connects clients with verified experts including Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Lawyers, Tax Consultants, Financial Advisors, Business Consultants, and Compliance Experts. EaseMyWrk acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any professional engagement between clients and experts.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@easemywrk.in of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Expert Verification

EaseMyWrk requires experts to submit professional credentials for verification before becoming active on the platform. While we make reasonable efforts to verify credentials, EaseMyWrk does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any expert's qualifications. Clients are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence.

5. Bookings and Payments

Consultations must be booked and paid for through the EaseMyWrk platform. EaseMyWrk charges a 15% platform fee on all transactions. Payments are processed via Cashfree. By making a payment, you agree to Cashfree's Terms of Service. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.

6. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking amount. Expert-initiated cancellations will result in a full refund to the client.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) bypass or circumvent the Platform to conduct off-platform transactions with experts discovered through EaseMyWrk; (c) post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; (d) harass, abuse, or harm any other user; (e) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Blackshift Technologies LLP or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EaseMyWrk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. EaseMyWrk's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to EaseMyWrk in the preceding 12 months.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

EaseMyWrk reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
