1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, mobile number, company name, and location when you register. For experts, we additionally collect professional credentials, certifications, LinkedIn profile, and profile photo. We also collect usage data, device information, and IP addresses automatically when you use the Platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the EaseMyWrk platform; (b) verify expert credentials; (c) process bookings and payments; (d) send transactional emails and notifications; (e) comply with legal obligations; (f) prevent fraud and ensure security.
3. Information Sharing
We share limited information with: (a) experts when a booking is confirmed (client name and consultation notes); (b) clients when a booking is confirmed (expert name and meeting details); (c) Cashfree for payment processing; (d) law enforcement when required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Authentication tokens are stored as httpOnly cookies to prevent XSS attacks. We conduct regular security audits and comply with ISO 27001 principles. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Consultation records and documents uploaded to the Workspace are retained for 7 years to comply with Indian financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting privacy@easemywrk.in.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (httpOnly, Secure flag in production) and TanStack Query cache. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie settings in your browser, but disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@easemywrk.in. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately.
